Introduction
These plans are inspired by a cabinet in James Krenov’s A Cabinetmaker’s Notebook, pages 78 – 81. I chose to use dovetail joinery rather than the hidden technique Krenov uses, and the shelves will be wood instead of glass. The cabinet is a simple dovetailed box with the doors hung on the case sides. Glass fills the space between the door styles and rails. Assuming 25% waste, the project only uses 10 board feet of 3/4" wood.
